Taft of Woodland Hills used some big plays to completely dominate the first half, building a 34-point lead at the break en route to a 44-14 win over Garfield in the first round of the LA City Division I playoffs Thursday night. But the Toreadors may have paid a high price in the win, with both quarterback Bam Goodall and USC-bound tailback D.J. Morgan having to leave the game with injuries.
