Coming off a knee injury that sidelined him the previous year, Kregg Lumpkin appeared to be fully recovering late in 2005, becoming a more reliable option in the three-player tailback by-committee rotation that Georgia employed last year with Danny Ware and Thomas Brown also in the fold. Lumpkin's battling those same two backs for time in a competition that began with the start of spring practice last week.
