Part IV: Whats in Nichol?

If there is one constant among history's great quarterbacks, it's a cool head under pressure. Many would see a commitment and conclusion of several weeks of stress as anything but a pressurized situation, but Keith Nichol's decision to let Oklahoma know he was coming had not caused him to lose sight of his responsibility to another group of coaches.

In a credit to the four-star quarterback, Nichol didn't neglect the chance to prove himself as a mature young man. And as credit to Michigan State's new head coach, he did little to hurt his reputation as a quality coach and person.
