It has to be the performance of the Golden Valley boys varsity track & field team. The Grizzly boys are 4-1 overall and 2-1 in league including a 70-66 dual meet victory over Canyon. It was only the second dual meet Foothill league loss for Canyon since 2001, but they now have back to back losses. The Grizzlies demolished Valencia in their other Foothill league dual meet win. I assume Hart is the team to beat with their 3-0 league record. The girls team has managed to muster one league win and are 3-2 overall. Unfortunately, the varsity successes do not extend to the lower echelons of the high school as both underclassmen teams got smoked by Canyon. The boys volleyball team should not be overlooked either. They are now 2-2 in league, 7-3 overall, after their 3-1 games victory over Saugus.
