Rivals250 DT picks up UA offer

The University of Alabama coaching staff is looking to upgrade a defensive front lacking in size, and a potential solution lies in a neighboring state in the form of a Rivals250 run-plugger from Buford, Georgia

Omar Hunter has offers from all over the country, including Notre Dame, Michigan and Florida, and the Crimson Tide is one of the latest to pull the trigger.

"Coach (Nick) Saban offered me about two weeks ago," said Hunter, who had 85 tackles and six sacks for the perrenial powerhouse Wolves in 2006. "We spent most of the time talking about the Alabama tradition, and he told me they were hurting for guys who could step right in on the defensive line and play right away."
