The lead grew to 35-19 in the second quarter after Myers hit his 3rd three-pointer, and it was 38-29 at the half. Birmingham rallied in the third quarter, outscoring Moorpark 15-5 and taking the lead, 44-43 on a three-pointer by Antone Datcher.
But Tyler Collet quickly answered for Moorpark with a nice scoring drive and followed by splitting two free throws to make it 46-44. Cirillo ended the third-quarter scoring by hitting both ends of a 1-and-1 and Moorpark led 51-46.
Cirillo opened the fourth quarter with a jumper and Moorpark's lead kept growing until it reached 16 points for the second time, 69-53. Birmingham tried to rally but there wasn't enough time. Iseah Rodgers hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to cut the final margin to single digits, 73-64. Moorpark will now play Royal for the championship at 7:00 pm on Saturday and Birmingham will take on Camarillo for third place at 5:30 pm.

Royal 48, Camarillo 38By Dave Keefer
Royal advanced to the championship game by beating Camarillo in a defensive battle, 48-38. It looked like Royal was going to run Camarillo out of the gym after an impressive 21-8 advantage in the first quarter. But Royal only scored 27 points the rest of the game and had to rely on some great defense, especially in the 4th quarter to pull out the win.
Max McCoy had just set a school career record for assists earlier in this tournament but he had to help out with scoring his own points in this game. He and Chris Terry combined for 13 points in the opening frame as Royal built its lead. Royal's largest lead was 25-11 early in the second quarter, but Camarillo rallied and it was a war through the next three periods.
The margin was down to 6 at the half, as Royal led only 28-22. McCoy scored to open the third quarter but Camarillo soon cut the deficit to four, 30-26. Royal edged out to a 34-26 lead but Camarillo kept it close at 34-30 and 36-32 at the close of the quarter.
McCoy opened the final frame with a nifty assist to Kevin Habroun and McCoy followed that with a pull up jumper at the 7:00 mark to make it 40-32. Justin Anderson added a layin, McCoy nailed a trey and then went coast to coast for a score and just like that Royal's lead had ballooned to 47-32. All the while the Royal defense had put the clamps on Camarillo and they remained scoreless in the quarter until it was too late.
With 1:30 on the clock, Camarillo finally got its first bucket in the 4th quarter on a nice pass from Jacob Alonzo to Chris Bengtsson to make it 47-34. Alonzo got a steal and layup with 30 seconds left to make it 47-36, and then got another steal that led to a basket with 16 seconds left. That made it 47-38 but it was too little and way too late, as Royal finished out on top, 48-38.
Score by Quarters:

Royal--------21-07-08-12 = 48
Camarillo (38): Corbin Covey 4, Chris Bengtsson 4, Brian Smith 2, Alex Martin 2, Jacob Alonzo 11, Ardavan Seif 4, Rhett King 11.
Royal (48): Weston Park 2, Max McCoy 16, Justin Anderson 3, Chris Terry 12, Austin Carr 2, Marcus Venneman 5, Kevin Habroun 6, Nick Creber 2.

North Hollywood 52, Granada Hills 51By Dave Keefer
Both these teams were winless on the season but they put on one of the best games of the tournament, as North Hollywood held on in a frantic finish to beat Granada Hills and advance to the 5th place game against Golden Valley on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
This game was tight all the way with Granada Hills leading once by seven points and North Hollywood once by six points but this was never far from a one-possession game all the way through. Granada Hills scored the game's first 5 points and led after one quarter, 15-13. They led by 5 again in the second quarter, 24-19, and had a 26-23 halftime lead.
Then North Hollywood grabbed its second lead of the game (the first was 9-7) when David Flores hit a three-pointer to make it 30-29. Eduardo Marenco also connected from behind the arc to extend the lead to 35-31, but Jacob Lilley got a stop-n-pop jumper to give Granada Hills the lead later at 36-35. The third quarter ended with Granada Hills on top, 39-37.
Granada Hills pulled out to a 7-point lead after David De Luna got a rare 4-point play to make it 46-39 at the 5:55 mark. Then Granada Hills went cold and North Hollywood heated up, going on a 13-0 run in the next 4 and a half minutes. The run included three-pointers from Chet Edelman, and two from Flores. That gave North Hollywood a lead of 52-46 with only 1:25 left in the game.
But Granada Hills almost pulled it out. Travis Fukumoto drained a three-pointer with 40 seconds left to make it a one-possession game, 52-49. Then Granada Hills got a steal and called time out with 20 seconds left. When play resumed they worked the ball around until Louis Fernando set up a long jumper and it bounced in. But his foot was on the three-point line and Granada Hills still trailed by one, 52-51.
Granada Hills got another steal under its own basket but threw the ball away with :025 on the clock. They had several fouls to give before putting North Hollywood in the bonus so time ran out in this thriller. Granada Hills will get another chance for a win as they take on Buena for 7th place at 2:30 pm on Saturday.
Score by Quarters:
North Hollywood---13-10-14-15 = 52
