This is part one of a two-part feature.

Double P, speak on it, "The game isn't over until the clock says zero." Yep Paul Pierce teaches this generation of players like Jaime Jaquez Jr. of Camarillo High.

Paul offers wisdom through his Truth AAU team and this is a story of J-Jaquez striving to be the best player he can be from one of the best NBA pros to ever lace up a pair of kicks.

P-Pierce, showing love to a youngin', showing him how to play the game.....pure and right. #Paul Pierce that dude

I interviewed Paul back in ‘04 after he was attacked in a bar. He preached peace and forgiveness in the aftermath. Now he preaches proper basketball to youngsters who will listen.

Paul was dope then, Paul is fire dope now.

So hear this 6-7 sophomore Jaime J: "Paul Pierce is a role model. I try to absorb and use all that goodness that he teaches me."

Jason Crowe is Paul's right hand man and gets much respect. Crowe is the coach of The Truth AAU travel team. Ask people in the grassroots community, or any of the Truth players, J-Crowe is that father figure, mentor, that man of credibility that kids look up to.

J-Crowe was a dope baller in his own right and now he's the fire dope program director of The Truth AAU Program, fosho.

I ask J-Jaquez, why do you play this game of ball? He responds, "I want that big moment, 5 seconds left on the clock - I'll do whatever is needed, do what must be done, that's why I play ball." #Dope hoop love

Jaime's parents met at Concordia University in Irvine, both hoop ballers. Jaime is the product of their love for basketball. It must have been destiny from the start. That's why this humble young man Jaime says he listens to his parents in life and in basketball.

"My parents started to teach me how to ball when I was in 2nd grade, to play the game inside-out, 2 ball drills, shooting instruction, all that. I played for the Camarillo Dons travel team back then."

What life lessons did this top 75 soph in his class get taught? His parents taught him right, "My mom Angela showed me how to be a kind person, treat others like I want to be treated, just be nice to others. She would remind me of that always; that has stayed with me. I plan on having kids and I'll pass that along to my kids 100%."

Me, E-Woods, I've known about J-Jaime a long time, since he was in 6th grade. He's humble off the court and a high flying dunker on court. Jaime on defense, he swats ish out the lane, and he has tough pride in his defense,

He's racking up D1 offers every day from schools around the country.

Jaime's goal? Make that NBA, he hopes to play for the Lakers someday. Kobe of course is his fav player ever.

This youngster from sleepy ol' Camarillo is headed to play for the USA Junior Olympic Team in a few days. What does he feel when the adrenaline and blood course through his veins during a game?

"When I'm playing I try to lock in, get in the zone. I feel unstoppable, I want that ball to help the team score, block shots to intimidate, get after it on defense like a junk yard dog mentality. That's how I want to feel when balling." #Dang son, that's passion

Biggest compliment I can give Paul is that he's a poet in the game of hoop, I'm doing a story soon on Tupac; Double P is 2Pac cuz they both are The Truth, best ever at what they do.

Let Pac speak on what he and P-Pierce try to do in this world we live:

"I'm not saying I'm gonna change the world but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world."

#appreciate you Paul, miss you Pac
